The now-iconic „Pál utcai fiúk” musical by the Vígszínház is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its premiere this year.

A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then, but the original cast and creative team are reuniting for a very special charity concert to perform the musical's most beloved songs once again. The performers will be accompanied by László Dés and his specially assembled orchestra.

The event will feature special guest appearances by A GRUND – the Vígszínház boy band – alongside members of the original cast, including József Wunderlich, Miklós H. Vecsei, László Józan, Márk Ember, and Béla Fesztbaum.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to charity, providing the foundation for the newly established „Pál utcai fiúk” Award. From now on, this award will be presented annually to self-organised youth communities that set an inspiring example through their solidarity, courage and commitment to building strong communities.

Long live the Grund!

On December 4, 2026, at the MVM DOME, the charity concert titled We are the Grund! will kick off with a performance by A Grund, the Vígszínház boy band formed by the actors of The Paul Street Boys. This will be followed by the songs from the musical performed by the original cast, along with excerpts from the novel featuring dancers and surprise guests. The visual world of the evening is inspired by the life work of Károly Reich.
