The Raiffeisen Bank EHF FINAL4 2026 will be held next year on 6–7 June in Budapest, at the 20,022-seat MVM Dome, one of Europe’s largest indoor arenas.
The first tickets have become available on the official sales platform. Until 31 December 2025, an “early-bird” offer applies to all tickets, with prices starting from 12,900 HUF. Tickets are valid for both Saturday’s semifinals and Sunday’s placement matches, meaning access to a total of four games. The event is expected to attract huge interest, so no one should miss this early opportunity to secure their place at the Budapest final tournament, where they can witness one of women’s club handball’s most important competitions!
A celebration of women’s handball
In 2026, Budapest will host the final weekend of the Women’s Champions League for the 12th time. In 2023, the attendance world record for women’s club handball was broken here, when 20,022 fans cheered on their favourites from the stands of the MVM Dome.
According to an agreement between the event organisers — the Hungarian Handball Federation (MKSZ), the National Event Management Agency (NRÜ), the European Handball Federation and its marketing division, EHF Marketing — Budapest will continue to host one of women’s handball’s most important events at least until 2027.
Ferenc Ilyés, President of the MKSZ, said: “The FINAL4 holds a special place in our hearts, as Budapest has been its home since the beginning in 2014, and next year we will host the world’s best club teams for the 12th time. From tomorrow our attention will turn to the World Championship starting for the Hungarian women’s national team, but at the same time tickets for the FINAL4 will also become available, and I know how popular the event is among fans, who look forward each year to filling the fantastic MVM Dome. As always, together with our organising partners — the National Event Management Agency, the European Handball Federation and EHF Marketing — our aim is to raise the Final4 to an even higher level.”
Dr. Mátyás Falvai, CEO of the National Event Management Agency, added: “The National Event Management Agency is taking part in organising the Women’s Handball Champions League final tournament for the fourth time. Based on our experience so far, the atmosphere created by the fans arriving in Budapest is just as important as the performance of the teams competing for the title. This is why we are working to ensure that the 2026 Final4 becomes a true celebration of handball.”
Michael Wiederer, President of the European Handball Federation (EHF), emphasised: “For fans, the EHF FINAL4 has grown into a must-see event — one of the women’s team sport events that is almost obligatory to attend. For the players, reaching the final tournament is the goal from the very beginning of the season. Budapest proves year after year that the event holds fantastic matches and experiences for everyone. There is no doubt: 2026 will be no different.”
David Szlezak, Managing Director of EHF Marketing, highlighted: “The success of the EHF FINAL4 Women is built on three pillars: it is a huge celebration for thousands of fans, it provides unforgettable moments for the players, and it offers valuable opportunities for our partners. Together with the Hungarian Handball Federation and the National Event Management Agency, we are working to ensure that the event remains successful and continues to grow.”
