What Makes This Event Special?

101 Hang is a 5-hour Depeche Mode celebration envisioned by fans for fans. At the climax of the evening, at 8:00 PM, 101 artists take the stage to create an unforgettable experience that evokes the thrilling musical world of Depeche Mode through unique musical interpretations. Iconic tracks like “Enjoy the Silence,” “Wrong,” “Strangelove,” “Walking in My Shoes,” and many more receive a monumental sound through the collaboration of a 50-piece symphonic orchestra and the 45-member Hungarian National Men’s Choir, promising an everlasting impression on all who attend.

The evening uniquely blends the power of nostalgia with the excitement of reinvention.

One of the grandest stages in the history of MVM Dome concerts is set for the 101 Hang performance. The production’s astonishing power is showcased when, at several points during the concert, 100 artists simultaneously create a new, mighty sound with their instruments and voices, reimagining the iconic Mode tracks.

For Every Generation, for Every Music Lover!

During the concert block, various musical approaches alternate continuously, each song built on a different stylistic foundation. Szabi Papp brings the rock-infused era of Depeche Mode to life with his distinctive, energetic performance style, while Balázs Fehér’s sensitive, atmospheric voice adds a unique depth to the evening’s musical world.

At one point, Gigi Radics will perform a beautiful ballad associated with Martin Gore, accompanied by piano, backing vocalists, and the symphonic orchestra. In another moment, Anna Pásztor will evoke a special DM hit, and there will also be a song with a reimagined musical base brought to life by Zsiga Bernathy, joined by the Hungarian National Male Choir.

Lotfi Begi is also preparing his own DM versions—this project is close to his heart, as he has always considered himself a Mode fan. The heart and soul of the cast is Lili Fehér, the exceptionally talented pianist and vocal performer. Lili played an active role in shaping the entire musical concept, and we will hear several songs performed by her as well. For the harder, grittier tracks, Timi Arany takes the stage, another indispensable member of this remarkable collaboration of performing artists.

In addition to the vocal performances, many original Depeche Mode songs will also be featured, enhanced with a fuller, unique sound thanks to the accompaniment of the Hungarian National Male Choir and the Hungarian Studio Orchestra.
