With us, the red carpet doesn't stop at the entrance.
After the success of the first 101 HANG concert in 2025, the production featuring more than 100 musicians will return to the stage in Hungary in 2026.
This year, we dive even deeper into the defining songs of Depeche Mode’s oeuvre. The setlist is focused and intense, while preserving the personal, emotional power of the music. The signature Depeche Mode sound appears in a new light, approached with sincere admiration for the original works.
The 2026 concept: every note comes closer to the audience. The full depth and layering of the symphonic orchestra and the 45-member male choir unfold in a unique formation in Hungary. The nuances of the songs resonate with greater clarity and strength.
Internally, this year’s concert has been given the working title: Black Celebration.
We consciously return to the creative era when Depeche Mode had already found its musical identity, yet continued to experiment boldly with sound. This period produced the defining songs that still have an elemental impact on audiences today. The album of the same title celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, so “Black Celebration” is not only a working title but also a tribute to an iconic era.
The performance places stronger emphasis on the power of the male choir—harmonizing with industrial sound textures—and the symphonic expression. The repertoire highlights cult classics from the Black Celebration, Music for the Masses, and Violator eras. The arrangements shift dynamically: at times the male choir and lead vocals take center stage, at others the orchestra dominates, culminating in powerful collective moments that define the evening’s peaks.
Conductor Richárd Riederauer explains:
“This is not a ‘reinterpretation’ in the classical sense. With the symphonic orchestra and the male choir, we illuminate deeper layers of Depeche Mode’s music. It’s like looking at something familiar from a new angle—new details become visible. This is the only way to preserve the original character without forcing anything onto their music.”

Live music lovers seeking a monumental production featuring more than 100 musicians
Those looking for a powerful shared community experience
The standing area offers high-energy space for those who want to dance, while the comfortable seated sections provide a more relaxed listening experience.
101 HANG is neither a traditional tribute nor a conventional symphonic concert. More than 100 musicians, acclaimed Hungarian singers, professionals, a conductor, and a creative artistic team ensure authenticity, while the entire production—from orchestration to visual design—is created by a Hungarian artistic team.
More than a concert, it is a work of art: every note, light, and short film evokes the world of Depeche Mode, driven by the shared energy of musicians and audience alike. From fans to fans.
Each year, 101 HANG is reborn with a new concept. The goal: to establish the year-end Black Celebration as a tradition, revealing a new face every year.
There is no passage between sectors in the MVM Dome. Seated tickets are valid only for the designated sector and do not grant access to the standing area.
The concert is not recommended for children under 12. Children under 14 are not permitted in the standing area; for safety reasons, seated tickets are recommended for them. Attendees under 18 may only enter and attend the event accompanied by an adult (18+).
The organizers reserve the right to change the program.
