It's a historic year for Hungarian hockey, as both of our adult teams will play in the Group A World Championships - the men's team will be able to stay in the elite for the first time. We are adapting our spring preparation programme to this high professional challenge: our men's national ice hockey team is preparing for the Group A World Championship with an unprecedented quality and quantity of matches!

Eight matches, four weeks, one common goal: this is the VELETEK BÁRHOVA TURNÉ, the national team's spring preparation programme! Starting in Székesfehérvár, and running from Győr to Miskolc, the country tour will culminate in a highlight match against Canada in the MVM Dome in Budapest, the biggest arena in Hungary!

The world-leading Maple Leafs are the most successful team at the World Championships with 28 gold medals and 53 medals, and won the prestigious Four Nations Face-Off tournament in February this year, featuring NHL stars!

Canada will also have a strong line-up in our capital, as this year's World Championships is already considered a "selection" for the 2026 Winter Olympics, and Canada expects its biggest stars to participate. In addition, the May 6 clash at the MVM Dome will be the last game before the World Championships for both the Hungarian and Canadian national teams, so there will be a great game, a great fight and an unforgettable atmosphere!

We will bring this togetherness to life with the VELETEK BÁRHOVA TURNÉ and the match against Canada, hoping to once again have the experience of a lifetime!"
