Life is always a celebration.

Hadházi is still 60 for a few more days. Time flies, and Laci stretches.

What’s more important: the distance traveled, the time passed, or the ratio of the two to speed? None of that matters; the only thing that matters is that events like this don’t come around often. I won’t be sixty again, maybe I’ll be double sixty, like 120, but that’s just math. This kind of party won’t happen again. A once-in-a-lifetime Friday night on January 3, 2025, at the MVM Dome.

I’ll try to recall:

• What was it like to be a boy in the 20th century?
• What did culture mean back then, and how important was music a few decades ago?
• How did we manage to endure, accomplish, and experience it all, and what was worth remembering?

I’ll tell those who come.

There’s nothing to celebrate about me; I just made it this far. But let’s rejoice together in life and in each other! There won’t be any cringe-worthy "Happy Birthday" singing, awkward wandering around, or a string of toasts, but there will be a stand-up parade and quite a few colleagues who will also bring their A-game to the stage so that those who attend can have a carefree time with us: KAP, Gergely Litkai, Viktor Fülöp, László Lakatos, Dávid Dennis Musimbe.
